This February, our school is excited to make kindness the norm by using a Random Acts of Kindness Calendar! 🌟
Each day, students will be encouraged to complete a simple, age-appropriate act of kindness—like sharing a smile, helping a friend, or saying something kind. These small moments add up to big impact!
By practicing kindness every day, we’re helping our students build empathy, connection, and a positive school community. 💕

Students dressed up as pizza chefs and headed to the classroom pizzeria to practice fractions. From dividing pizzas into halves, thirds, and quarters to creating their own fraction pizzas, everyone was engaged, hands-on, and smiling. Last week, 3rd graders from Willow Springs visited the Mayborn Museum Complex, located on the Baylor University campus, for a day of field-based learning. Students got the chance to explore this natural science and cultural history museum which focuses on Central Texas. Our blue jays participated in walk-in dioramas, exploration stations, and themed discovery rooms with hands-on learning experiences.
